Upgrading to NRV10 interFX Pro, you get the following features:

• MIDI support - Note and Control routing, layers, splits, multiple assignments
  
• 6 custom plug-ins per chain
• Additional effects. Effect processing for connected guitar, bass, microphones, keyboards...
  
• Track Player - media playback with slow-down option
• Independent simultaneous recording and playback (one control set for each of them)
• Records the main output of NRV 10 or individual channels (processed by interFX, routed back to the mixer, mixed in NRV10)
  
• Playback assignable to any of the 1-10 channels (in pairs)
  
• Recording of the Track Payer playback is achieved by external routing through NRV10 (for example, user decides to use channel 7/8 for Track Player and controls signal level by the channel fader)
• ReWire Support
• ReWire Connects to any stereo pair - allows to mix e.g. Live output to the signal recorded in interFX Pro

NRV10 with interFX Pro software can be used for a small band. This is an example how to set it up:

• Guitar is connected to channel 1, processed by standard guitar effect chain - gate, distortion, delay, chorus etc., included in interFX Pro.
  
• Bass is connected to channel 2, processed by standard bass effect chain - gate, delay, chorus etc., included in interFX Pro.
• Microphones in channels 3 and 4 are processed by vocal effect chains - gates, compressors, reverbs etc., included in interFX Pro.

NRV10 with interFX Pro as a keyboard center:

• Open software instruments in the interFX Pro chains.
  
• If you would like to connect also hardware synths or sound modules, connect their output to channels 5/6 and 7/8 of the NRV mixer.
  
• You can process both hardware and software synths output by effects opened in interFX channels.
• Record the whole performance in the Master channels.
