New effects in inTone Pro and interFX - Mac.
Audiffex has released a new version of all inTone variants and interFX Pro. The update is free for all users who purchased inTone or interFX Pro.
Major changes:
- New effects added to the Pro versions. Please check the product pages to see the list of new effects.
- The Bass version has specially designed effects for bass - modulation effects, equalizer, distortion and overdrive have different algorithms than the Guitar version.
- The Keys and Matrix versions have complete sets of guitar, bass and general purpose effects now.
- Programs downloaded from the web may be used directly.
- Two easy ways to create a new program bank: Either as a copy of the loaded bank or as a new empty bank.
- New version of inSpector allows drag & drop operation with programs. Inspector currently supports only Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. We will release the Tiger version soon.
- Auto muting of empty chains. When user loads an Express program in the Pro version, the unused effect chains automatically mute the dry signal.

Important note: The Program Banks location was changed
The Program Banks are located in the Music/Audiffex folder as well as the recordings. The Banks are directly compatible with the web database, no conversion is required anymore.
The old banks are compatible, just move them from /Preferences/com.audiffex.common/Programs to Music/Audiffex/Programs. Also change the extension from .plist to .affxbank.
The reason why we moved the programs: Mac OS X has built-in searching and QuickLook (10.5) systems. Audiffex Programs saved in Preferences were not accessible by the searching engine. Now you may type "Rock" in SpotLight and the Audiffex Program Banks containing "Rock" are displayed in the search results. And you may preview the bank contents using the Quick Look function in Leopard.
