inSpector: Edit inTone and interFX sound banks!
inTone comes with a factory set of sounds. More sound banks can be downloaded from our database.
You may want to prepare your own banks. How to manage the sound banks:
PC:
We have updated our (free) manager of sound banks. Download the recent version of inSpector here. Now it allows to:
- Create new banks
- Rearrange the order of sound programs in each bank
- Drag and drop programs from one bank to another one
Mac:
The inSpector application is bundled with every inTone variant. Currently we don't support the drag and drop based rearrangement of sounds, so you need to do it in inTone.
- To create a new bank, just duplicate the .plist file in the Programs folder (locate it using an inSpector command)
- To rearrange the sound program, use inTone. Unlike PC, Mac is very fast when switching the sound banks, so you cal load a program, change the active bank and save the program to the new bank.
- To use downloaded .afxbank files, rename them to .plist and move to the Programs folder
