System Requirements & Compatibility

To successfully run inValve, you need a computer that meets the following requirements:

• Windows: CPU with SSE2 support (Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 and newer)
• Mac: PPC, Intel Core
• Windows XP SP3, Vista, 7 (32-bit/64-bit) or Mac OS X 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8
• CPU speed 1.25 GHz
• 50 MB of HDD space
• Screen resolution at least 1024x768 (recommended 1280x800 and more)
• VST/AU host application

Compatibility

inValve is compatible with the following technologies:

• Virtual Studio Technology (VST 2.4)
• Audio Units

The current version (1.5.0) supports PPC and Mac OS 10.5 to allow all current users of the PowerCore version to update to inValve Native. The planned update (1.5.1) will support Intel Mac only and will contain 64-bit plug-ins for both Windows and Mac OS.
