FAQ
New versions and updates Purchasing inTone and interFX Drivers & hardware
  • PC: Do you deliver Vista compatible ASIO drivers?
  • We don't provide any drivers. Search for drivers on web sites of manufacturers of the audio hardware. inTone applicatons are Vista compatible.
  • Which is the best audio interface for inTone?
  • Every interface with ASIO drivers on PC and any audio interface on a Mac. We suggest to select the interface according to the number of channels you need to process, with appropriate HiZ inputs for guitar. Every interface seriously intended for active musicians works with inTone. The cheap mini jack audio cards are not suitable for music creation at all.
Program banks Features
  • Is there an AudioUnit version of the new inTone applications which could be used in Garage
  • We are completely rebuilding the AU and VST plug-ins to be opening just one window with all the effects. This development will take about two months. PC users and users of PowerPC Macs may use the GT Player VST and AU plug-in meanwhile.
  • Mac: Can I layer recordings in inTone?
  • Not now. We are using independent playback engine, where the audio input is not routed back to the recording.
This will be changed in the next releases of inTone, you'll be even able to process Track Player output by an effect chain.
  • May I use GT Player sounds in inTone?
  • Yes, but they must be converted on PC, then they may be loaded in PC or Windows versions of inTone and even interFX.
However, there is a little workaround required: You should check the channel setup. If you load GT Player with an empty chain, you should prevent the clean sound from the empty chain to be added to the master. So mute the unused chains. We'll add automatic muting in the next inTone versions.
