Installation and uninstallation of Audiffex software

Note: Audiffex products don't install any components affecting your computer's performance. When they are not launched, they don't consume any CPU power or system memory.

Just copy the application file to any location on your drive

To uninstall or to perform a clean installation:

1. Delete the application file
2. Navigate to Library in your home folder, navigate to the Preferences folder inside
3. Delete all the items beginning com.audiffex (folders and files)

You may backup your programs in the Music/Audiffex/Programs folder before deleting the files.

 

To install on a Windows XP or Windows Vista machine, you will need administrator privileges.

1. Unzip the setup file that you have downloaded from our Web site
2. Double-click on the downloaded file
3. The installation wizard will appear
4. Go through the installation process using the "Next" button

Perform clean Uninstall on Windows XP or Windows Vista

1. From the Start menu, select Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs (or Programs and Features on Vista)
2. Select inTone and press the Add/Remove... button (or the Uninstall button on Vista)
3. Delete your Program Banks and Playlists from UserDocuments and SettingsAudiffex location. This must be done manually since the installer cannot delete your personal files.

Update or Upgrade

1. Select Check for Updates from the Options menu
2. If an update or upgrade is available, then you will be redirected to the download section of our Web site
3. Download the newest installer from the page you have been redirected to
   
4. Perform the same procedure as for the clean installation
